Passports: Passports will be required for this and any European coach holiday. Please ensure your passport has, at minimum, three months before expiring.

Day 1

We depart for Switzerland via France and check into the Mercure Saarbrücken Süd for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Travel through the picturesque landscapes of France, passing iconic cities like Basel and Zurich en route to Switzerland. Enjoy glimpses of Zurich’s serene lake before arriving in Davos, where you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink at the luxurious Central Sporthotel. Settle into your accommodations and explore the hotel’s excellent amenities.

Day 3

Enjoy a free day in Davos, a charming alpine resort with a rich history as a high-altitude health retreat. Use your Davos Pass to access local transportation and take a ride on the Schatzalp Funicular Railway, ascending to 1,861 meters for stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Alternatively, explore Davos’s parks, shops, and cafes at your leisure.

Day 4

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime rail journey aboard the Bernina Express. Starting in Filisur, this UNESCO World Heritage route takes you through breathtaking landscapes featuring snow-capped peaks, sparkling lakes, and impressive glaciers. Cross loops, tunnels, and viaducts on your way to Tirano, Italy, where you’ll meet the coach for a scenic drive back to Davos via the Bernina Pass.

Day 5

Discover the alpine charm of Klosters, a favourite winter retreat of the British royal family. Continue to Chur, Switzerland’s oldest town, with its cobbled streets, hidden courtyards, and majestic cathedral. The return journey takes you over the Alpine Pass to Frauenkirch, offering even more spectacular views of this enchanting region.

Visit the glamorous resort of St. Moritz, known for its pristine lakes, chic atmosphere, and world-class skiing heritage. Spend the afternoon at your leisure back in Davos, using your Davos Pass to explore further or relaxing in the hotel’s pool, spa, or wellness centre.
