Day 1
We travel to Grantown-on-Spey, making comfort stops en route and arriving at Grant Arms Hotel late afternoon.
EMDay 2
After a leisurely breakfast, we head to the capital of the Highlands: Inverness. We’ll board the Dolphin Spirit for a wildlife coastal cruise, with guided commentary on board and the chance to spot seals, otters and hopefully even dolphins! This afternoon, enjoy free time to explore Inverness and visit the city’s landmarks such as Inverness Castle and Inverness Cathedral.

Today, enjoy a free day in Grantown-on-Spey. The hotel is a great base for the Bird Watching & Wildlife Club, as well as for taking walks in the surrounding area. Alternatively, you can hop on a local bus to explore nearby areas or just spend a day at leisure in what is known as one of the oldest hotels in Scotland!

Today we visit Gordon Castle Gardens – a real hidden gem in the northwest! Enjoy a guided tour to one of the oldest and largest kitchen gardens in Britain and the rest of this stunning castle. Afterwards, we’ll make the short drive to Elgin, where you can enjoy some free time to explore the historic down and former cathedral city.

Discover Aviemore this morning and take the chance to explore, enjoy the scenery or have a bite to eat. There are plenty of award-winning attractions in the area too! Afterwards, we’ll visit the Highland Folk Museum to experience traditional Highland life.
