Day 1

We make our way to Wales, with comfort stops en route, including a lunch stop. We arrive at The Celtic Royal Hotel, Caernarfon this afternoon.

Day 2

After breakfast, head to Penrhyn Castle near Bangor, a majestic neo-Norman structure surrounded by landscaped gardens. Spend the morning marvelling at its grand architecture, opulent interiors, and extensive art collections, including the famous slate bed. In the afternoon, stroll through the gardens and woodland trails, soaking in the serene atmosphere and views of the Menai Strait. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening and dinner, reflecting on the day’s historical treasures.

Day 3

Travel to the Saltcote and Visitor Centre to delve into the area’s fascinating industrial heritage and its ties to salt production. Begin your day with a guided tour or an interactive exhibit, learning about the traditional and modern methods used in salt harvesting. After lunch, take time to explore the surrounding area, enjoying its natural beauty and cultural significance. Return to your hotel in the evening and unwind, perhaps with a swim in the leisure club or a quiet evening in the lounge.

Day 4

Prepare for a day of adventure as you visit Snowdonia National Park and Snowdon, Wales’ highest peak. In the morning, decide between a scenic ride on the Snowdon Mountain Railway or a more adventurous hike along one of the mountain trails. Once at the summit, take in breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys, lakes, and distant peaks.

We depart the hotel after breakfast, making our way home with comfort stops en route.
