Day 1

We depart for North Yorkshire, making comfort stops en route including a suitable lunch stop. Arriving at Warner Nidd Hall Country Hotel this afternoon.

Day 2

Today we visit the historic city of York where we’ll experience plenty of festive fun. Enjoy York’s Christmas market in the heart of the city, with 75 alpine chalets lining Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square, offering a magical array of local crafts, artisan products, and delicious seasonal treats.

We’ll also have entry into the National Railway Museum, home of iconic locomotives and a collection of historically significant railway vehicles.

Day 3

This morning we’ll make our way to Skipton, a town which offers history, rich culture and plenty of independent shops and eateries. Don’t miss Skipton Castle: at over 900 years old, it’s one of the most complete and best-preserved medieval castles in England!

This afternoon we visit Harrogate based in the heart of Yorkshire. This Victorian spa town and rural district is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers plenty to do for history lovers.

Day 4

A day at leisure to enjoy the facilities at the hotel, such as the indoor heated swimming pool, cinema room or history talks. Warner Nidd Hall Country Hotel is set on 45 acres of woodland to explore and offers award-winning gardens for horticultural enthusiasts.

We depart the hotel after breakfast, making our way home with comfort stops en route and a suitable lunch stop, arriving back in East Sussex this evening.
