Day 2

This morning we make our way to Ledbury where it's Market Day. Ledbury's historic streets are lined with brilliant independent shops, plus plenty of places to refuel. Soak up the town's history and stroll the streets. See the unusual stilted 17th-century Market House, find out about the Tudor history of the restored Masters House and walk up the cobbles of Church Street, home to the 16th-century Painted Room, the Heritage Centre, the Butcher’s Row Museum and, then, St Michael’s and All Angels Church where a painting by Titian was discovered.

We then make our way to Worcester, a beautiful Cathedral and University City with a fascinating history, located in the heart of the West Midlands on the banks of the River Severn. Just a stone’s throw away from the Cathedral are historic Friar Street and New Street where two of Worcester’s oldest and most historic pubs are located. The Cardinal’s Hat in Friar Street is the city’s oldest inn dating back to the fourteenth century, serving craft ales and the most delicious homemade pies and sharing boards.

Day 3

Today we visit Hereford and Ross-on-Wye.

Hereford is a cathedral city situated on the banks of the River Wye. The city's rich heritage can be seen from its extraordinary relics from bygone days, most notably the spectacular Norman Cathedral, the Mappa Mundi maps and the Chained Library exhibition. Hereford has excellent shopping facilities and a great range of cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Overlooking the beautiful Wye Valley from a craggy sandstone cliff in Herefordshire within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Ross-on-Wye is where UK tourism began. As you wander its historic streets and alleyways, you are walking in the footsteps of Georgian visitors who first came to explore the river on the Wye Valley tour from 1770 onwards. And it was all down to a local clergyman who wrote a pamphlet extolling the natural beauty of the Wye valley.
