Day 1

Travel to Cheshire, making comfort stops en-route including a suitable lunch stop, and check in at Alvaston Hall.

Day 2

This morning we make our way to historic Chester where you can enjoy time for shopping, visit its cathedral or walk the city walls. In the afternoon we visit the impressive Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Centre where you will have the chance to pick up a bargain or two.

Day 3

A day at leisure to enjoy the facilities at the hotel, such as the indoor heated swimming pool, croquet, history talk or tea tasting.

Day 4

Enjoy a morning visit to Nantwich – a charming historical market town with plenty to see and do.

This afternoon we visit the RAF Museum Midlands in Cosford with a fantastic display of aircraft & exhibits. Discover the fascinating, sometimes surprising, array of aircraft and objects in the collection. Alongside the aircraft are free exhibitions, flight-related memorabilia and interactive displays. View a variety of flight-related artwork in the art gallery. Some of these are available to purchase if one takes your fancy.

In the National Cold War Exhibition look out for the life-size Russian dolls and for those with a head for heights, take the lift to the top of the viewing gallery and look down at the mighty Belfast Transporter. In Hangar 1, you will find the 1:1 scale Airfix Spitfire - which was featured on BBC2's James May Toy Stories - complete with a model pilot.

We depart the hotel after breakfast, making our way home with comfort stops en route and a suitable lunch stop, arriving back in East Sussex this evening.
