Day 1

We depart for France via Calais and Belgium and check in at the Kyriad Dijon Mirande hotel for a one-night stay.

Day 2

Travel south through the picturesque French countryside into Spain, arriving at the charming seaside town of Roses. Settle into the Prestige Hotel Sant Marc for a 7-night stay and enjoy a welcome drink.

Day 3

Enjoy a leisurely morning to explore Roses, known for its sandy beaches and relaxed vibe. In the afternoon, board the Roses Little Town Train for a scenic ride to the Cap de Creus National Park. Marvel at the dramatic coastline, towering cliffs, and stunning Mediterranean views before returning to Roses.

Day 4

Set out on a guided excursion to the medieval town of Besalú, where you'll board a little train for a ride through its historic streets. Discover its Romanesque bridge and quaint charm. Later, visit Empuriabrava, famed for its canal network. Enjoy a peaceful boat cruise through this "Spanish Venice," taking in the unique waterfront scenery.

Day 5

Take a day to relax and explore Roses at your own pace. Visit the vibrant local market, stroll along the promenade, or unwind on the beach. This free day allows you to soak in the beauty of the Costa Brava at your leisure.

Day 6

Venture into the Spanish Pyrenees for a day of breathtaking landscapes. Travel through the Vall de Núria, accompanied by commentary from your guide. Experience the awe-inspiring Núria Rack Railway, descending over 1000 meters in just 12.5 km. Surrounded by rugged peaks and lush valleys, this train journey is a highlight of the trip.

Day 7

Cross into France for a scenic ride on the famous Red Train. Originally built in 1908 to service quarries, this train now offers stunning views as it winds through the mountains to Axat. Along the way, admire quaint villages and dramatic landscapes. On the return, stop at La Jonquera for a chance to shop or relax in this cross-border town.

Day 8

Set sail from Roses for a scenic boat ride along the rugged coastline of the Costa Brava, passing Cap de Creus National Park. Arrive in Cadaqués, a charming coastal town with a bohemian flair, once frequented by Salvador Dalí. Enjoy a guided walking tour before returning to Roses by boat, taking in more stunning coastal views.

Today we depart Roses and return to your overnight hotel in France.
